Ouch! That's the word of the week. My wife, Jas, and I started Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping this week. You've heard that saying "no pain, no gain", well my motto has always been "no pain...no pain".
I'll be honest, though, now that I'm feeling sore, I actually feel better. I feel better, because I'm actually doing something about the demon that has possessed me for most of my life. That demon, let's call him...Walter. Well Walter has been a good, heh-heh, friend of mine since junior high school. Walter wants me to eat junk ALLLL the time. In fact, Walter is happier when I eat while watching TV.
Well, thanks to Farrell's, I can say goodbye to Walter...hopefully for good. I'm now drinking a jug of water (equals the doctor recommended 8 glasses of water) per day. Instead of eating really big meals once or twice a day, I'm not now eating smaller meals, six times a day. Because of my body fat count and weight, I need to eat 47 grams of carbs, and 20-27 grams of proteins each time I eat. That will allow me enough energy to get through the day, and it will help to increase my metabolism. In fact, it's time for me to eat right now.
Walter really hates me these days.
WHO IS MONTEZ?
Montez is a sweet, loveable, bald guy who just wants a pony. You can hear him from 10am to 15 o'clock, Mon thru Fri. He's held the #1 spot at mid-days for over 30 years (even though he's only 33 yrs old). His only weaknesses are his inabilities to count and tell time.
RADIO HISTORY?
Back in 1983, he called a local radio station and requested Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson's "Say Say Say". The DJ put him on the radio (he was only 9 yrs old, then). It was then that he knew he was destined for great things, but ended up in radio instead.
DID YOU KNOW?
Montez has a history of ear problems from age 3 to 12 (ask him to show you his scars). Specialists said there was a good chance he'd be completely deaf by age 15 (a nightmare for someone who wanted to be in radio and loved music so much). Long story short, he has no problems hearing, and is living his lifelong dream.
ANYTHING ELSE?
His idols are Johnny Carson, Dean Martin, Groucho Marx, and the person who invented edible underwear.
