Squirrel Cage Jail Public Ghost Hunt
Members of the public are invited to take part in a rare opportunity to participate in an overnight ghost hunt at the historical Pottawattamie County Squirrel Cage in Council Bluffs on June 29th. The Squirrel Cage is a one of a kind revolving jail built in 1885. While the jail has been uninhabited since 1969, many of its caretakers have gotten the feeling that the jails past residents have hung around. Participants in the hunt at the Squirrel Cage can decide on their own if past claims of noises, lights, moving objects and even apparitions are real and truly proof that spirits reside at the jail. The Squirrel Cage ghost hunt is being hosted by nationally recognized paranormal investigators Paranormal Distraction. The cost to participate in this ghost hunt is $50 and tickets can be purchased at www.paranormaldistraction.net. There is limited availability so get your tickets today. A majority of the proceeds go to the Pottawattamie County Historical Society and the preservation of the Squirrel Cage.
