Adam Levine is reportedly stepping away from his spinning chair on The Voice after serving as a coach on the show for all 16 seasons it’s been on the air.
“Adam is one of the original coaches that launched the show, winning the competition three times and inspiring many of the artists that he worked so closely with,” Voice host Carson Daly said on Friday’s TODAY while announcing Levine’s departure.
Gwen Stefani will return to the show as Levine’s replacement for season 17.
