Just last year, Netflix announced the release of an ‘Unsolved Mysteries” reboot.
The original show was released in 1987 with three specials and hosts, Raymond Burr and Karl Malden. Robert Stack eventually began to host the weekly episodes and called for anybody with more information to call a special number to help crack the case.
The 90’s documentary show will be making its reappearance July 2020 with six new episodes on Netflix. The format will stay the same for the most part, but the reboot series will direct its attention to one story. And the reboot will not feature a host. Though many fans were disappointed by the “no host” change many are still happy to see it coming back.
Six episodes will be released at once this summer, but the streaming service will be giving us 12 episodes total for season one.
‘Unsolved Mysteries’ will be available on Netflix on July 1, 2020.
