Former broadcast journalist Olivia Mancuso is claiming that Mattel stole her likeness for its new reporter Barbie doll.
Back in 2017, Mattel announced a new line of Barbie dolls for it’s big 60th anniversary. This line included the news reporter doll.
At the time, Mancuso who was still a reporter, tweeted about the new Barbie and its similarities to her look. She again made the claim back in July on TikTok.

“In January of 2017, I wore this outfit, a purple dress, a blue necklace and nude heels — thought nothing of it. Until 11 months later,” Mancuso says in the clip.
