The wizarding world of ‘Harry Potter’ is making it’s way to HBO Max for a TV series.
There have been rumors floating around about a live-action ‘Harry Potter’ TV project with talks going on with Warner Bros. and HBO Max.
Update (1/25): However, when contacted by The Post, Warner Bros. and HBO Max released the following statement: “There are no Harry Potter series in development at the studio or on the streaming platform.”
This bit of tea of is coming from The Hollywood Reporter. The article from THR did note that these conversations are in their very early stages, as no writers or talent are currently attached to any specific projects.
Executives from both HBO Max and Warner Bros. told THR that there isn’t a specific series in any stages of development. The conversations about what story could be told with a TV series are what seem to be continuing.
Fingers crossed that this is something that will actually stick and be explored.
