At least five U.S. Navy pilots tell The New York Times that they saw unidentified flying objects in the skies over the Eastern Seaboard nearly every day in 2014 and 2015.
“These things would be out there all day,” says Lt. Ryan Graves, a 10-year Navy veteran and F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot. “Keeping an aircraft in the air requires a significant amount of energy. With the speeds we observed, 12 hours in the air is 11 hours longer than we’d expect.”
While Graves reported his sightings to the Pentagon and Congress, many of the Navy’s encounters with the UFOs were also videotaped.
One piece of footage shows an object zooming over the ocean as one pilot exclaims, “Wow, what is that, man? Look at it fly!”
Navy spokesperson Joseph Gradisher claims some of the UFOs could’ve been commercial drones, but added, “We don’t know who’s doing this; we don’t have enough data to track this.”
