O.J. Simpson apparently joined Twitter on June 13, 2019, a date that just happens to mark 25 years since the death of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman.

Using the handle @TheRealOJ32, a reference to his old football jersey number, Simpson pinned a video atop his profile and tweeted “Hey Twitter world, this is yours truly and I’m coming soon to Twitter. You get to read all my thoughts and opinions on just about everything.”

The post has already been viewed more than one million times.

Simpson was tried and acquitted in the suspected murders of Brown and Goldman in 1995, but ended up spending a decade in jail after convictions on armed robbery and kidnapping charges in 2007.

Simpson was released from prison in October of 2017. From the looks of it, the 71-year-old appears to have plans for his new social media account.

“This should be a lot of fun. I’ve got a little getting even to do,” he posted. “So God bless, take care.”
