Scientists from Bauhaus University of Weimar shows us exactly what happens when we cough.

The video shows a person coughing using method called the Schlieren Method, which shows air flow in great detail. The person is seen coughing in six ways labeled on the top left-hand corner of each box.
Remember to always wash your hands and cover your mouth when sneezing or coughing. Best practice is to use a tissue or sleeve.
