Dua Lipa recently teased a possible collaboration with Pop Smoke, posting a video of the late rapper dancing to her song “One Kiss” to Instagram. “YOU CAN’T SAY POP WITHOUT SMOKE – 16 JULY,” Lipa wrote in the caption of the video.
Pop Smoke, whose real name is Bashar Barakah Jackson, died at the age of 20 after he was shot and killed during an invasion of his Los Angeles home in February 2020.
Lipa didn’t elaborate on what’s in store for the suggested July 16 release, but it happens to fall on the same day as the unveiling of Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album Faith.
